Assignments Tab

Assignment work items are essentially other types of documents and files that your instructor has included as part of the learning materials for the course. These could be any sort of file (MS Word, Power Point, HTML, zip, graphics, or FLASH). Some examples of how an instructor might use Assignments:

  • A syllabus for the course in Word format so you have a printer friendly version.
  • A reading assignment that was saved in PDF format.
  • A FLASH animation of the heart and circulatory system.

What's more interesting is that Assignment items can be used interactively in your course. You are able to submit your papers, essays, and other course work to your instructor through this tab. On the other end, instructors will receive your work, review and comment on what you submit and send it back.

After you click on an Assignment link you will see the details page where you can download the attached file and also make submissions. To submit work to your instructor, start by clicking the Add button. See the next page for further details.
